Cytec Corporation was founded in 1987 by Don Reeves, Sr. with a large systems focus working with companies like the IBM Corporation and Norfolk Southern Railroad. The business potential represented by the small-to-medium distribution and manufacturing sector led Cytec Corporation in that direction. An in-depth assessment of application software that would meet or exceed the needs of this market place resulted in Cytec’s partnership with Macola Software and their Progression Series product. Macola’s Financial, Distribution, Manufacturing, Front Office, and e-Business software products, coupled with the outstanding professionalism of Cytec’s consulting staff have provided business solutions for over a hundred companies since 1989.
Cytec Corporation has been expanding the product offerings of integrated software solutions since 1990. It now includes Shipping Systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Business Intelligence (BPM), Event Management (BAM), and Service Industries solutions.
